Nimbos × Runrun.it

Runrun.it is a workflow manager, and a Brazilian one. Nimbos does not compete for the task board — it carries on where the hour becomes payroll, margin and an invoice.

From R$9.00 per licence/month, minimum R$90.00 · parameters set per company, proposal and project

Where they are good

Runrun.it solves the work, not the close

Their page describes well what they do: Kanban boards, task management, no-code forms, custom fields, automations, SLAs with delay alerts, and now AI agents in the flow. It is a process manager, Brazilian, with a free plan for up to 5 people. What this page compares is not how work is organised — it is what happens when the hours of that work have to become collective-agreement overtime, an hour bank, margin per contract and an invoice.

Side by side

Nimbos and Runrun.it, line by line

CapabilityRunrun.itNimbos
OvertimeThe pricing page does not list overtime calculated from a collective-agreement clause.Nimbos calculates overtime by your company's labor agreement rules: bands, weekend and holiday premiums and the night premium, all configurable — the defaults of a real agreement come ready to adjust.
Hour bankThe pricing page does not list an hour bank.Nimbos keeps the hour bank under the collective labor agreement: configurable cycle, factors for working and non-working days, night premium and balance caps — the balance turns into time off and rolls into the next cycle.
Time clockThe pricing page does not list time-clock punching.Nimbos checks, day by day, whether clock-ins and logged hours match: who clocked in without logging hours, who logged hours without clocking in, and where the sources diverge — without demanding hours on holidays, during vacation, or for the day that hasn't closed yet.
Margin per contractThe pricing page lists neither cost per hour nor margin per contract. What it separates by plan are limits — boards, attachments, reports and the metrics window.Nimbos shows each contract's margin throughout the month — hourly cost and price per role, negotiated contract by contract. On invoicing, it stamps the price and cost used: renegotiating later does not touch an already invoiced month. Cost is visible only to those with permission to see it.
Month-end closeThe pricing page does not list approving and locking a month of logged time. The activity log appears on Enterprise (US$ 26 per person/month, annual only).Nimbos requires approval per project before closing: any recorded approval locks the month for editing. Once closed, the month freezes the quantity and the clause in force — renegotiating later does not move a closed month. First you define how much of the hours becomes billing, then you close, only then you invoice — and it is on invoicing that the price and cost get stamped.
InvoicingThe pricing page does not list issuing an invoice to the client.Nimbos calculates the invoice amount and line items from the closed month. In Barueri-SP, it also builds the submission file in the city hall's layout — sending it remains a separate step.
Bringing the historyThe features page lists integrations and an API, and the API docs are public.Nimbos connects through the API and brings the history over month by month, creating any missing projects and people. Syncing the same month again does not create copies — Nimbos mirrors the source, and hours already invoiced, approved, or in billing review are preserved and reported.
Where the data livesThe pricing page lists a password policy on Enterprise and an SLA on the same plan. Which region the data sits in, it does not say.Nimbos hosts the data in Brazil, each company isolated from the others in the database, and each person sees only what concerns them.
PriceFree for up to 5 people, with up to 20 boards and metrics for the last 31 days; Business US$ 10 and Enterprise US$ 26 per person/month, Enterprise annual only. Implementation consulting is required and charged separately, from R$ 1,000.From R$9.00 per licence/month, with a R$90.00 minimum invoice; without commitment, R$20.00 per licence/month, cancel anytime. Every module is included in the price.

Price

What it costs

On Runrun.it, free covers up to 5 people; Business is US$ 10 and Enterprise US$ 26 per person/month, discounted annually (runrun.it/en-US/plans-and-prices, September 2026). Nimbos starts at R$9.00 per license/month, with a minimum invoice of R$90.00.

There, onboarding is a separate line

  • Their page says that on subscribing you must also buy a consulting package: Basic R$ 1,000 (5h) or Advanced R$ 2,000 (10h).
  • Free stops at 5 people and keeps metrics for the last 31 days — closing a previous month falls outside that window.
  • Enterprise, which brings the activity log and the SLA, is US$ 26 per person/month and exists only annually.

Here, a single price

  • R$9.00 per license/month on the annual plan, with a minimum invoice of R$90.00.
  • Attendance, time entries, cost, margin, month-end close and billing are all in the price. There is no module to buy later.
  • No commitment: R$20.00 per license/month, cancel any time.

The price is per seat, not per login: it counts every person whose hours exist in Nimbos, including those who never sign in. If someone imports the hours of ten others, that is eleven seats — the importer's and the ten imported.

The figures on the other side are Runrun.it's published plans, read in September 2026 — not our estimate. Vendor pricing changes without notice: check the source before deciding.

Migration

The history comes along

They publish API documentation, and that is how the history comes out. Nimbos also reads a file: upload the export, map the columns once and check the preview before writing — the period, the total hours, who it does not recognise and what it will replace.

And the other tools

The market matrix compares six tools in one table, with the official source for each of them.
